Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the game app I Can't Say That - Fool the AI and this website (icantsaythat.sanglimsoft.com), both operated by SangLimSoft ("we", "us").
Don't type personal information into the chat. Messages you send in the game are forwarded to external LLM services to generate a reply and are stored on our server as-is. Avoid entering names, contact details, account credentials, or other personally identifying information.
1. Information the app collects
The app has no sign-up or login flow. We do not collect email addresses, names, phone numbers, contacts, photos, or location data.
| Item | Description | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous identifier | A random UUID from an anonymous auth session created on first launch. Not linked to a name or email. | Rate limiting, associating conversation records, verifying the first global-challenge clear |
| Device information | Platform (iOS / Android), device model, first-launch time, last-seen time | Understanding the runtime environment and troubleshooting |
| Conversation records | Messages you send, the AI's replies, whether the stage cleared, which AI provider handled it, and the timestamp | Tuning stage difficulty, analyzing attack/defense techniques, troubleshooting |
| Nickname | Free-text you enter only if you are the first to clear the global challenge | Displayed publicly in the hall of fame |
| Progress | Which stages are unlocked — stored only on your device, never sent to the server. | Resuming play |
The app shows interstitial ads using Google's advertising SDK (Google Mobile Ads, AdMob). While serving an ad, the ad provider may process device information and an advertising identifier. The app itself does not store advertising identifiers or send them to the collection server, and it does not request App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS. There are no in-app purchases. Usage statistics and error information are sent to a collection server operated by the operator in order to improve the service (Section 10).
2. Information processed on the website
This website is provided through a hosting provider. Technical information such as IP address and browser type may be processed by the hosting provider as part of normal delivery. We do not install any visitor-analytics or advertising-tracking scripts, and we do not use cookies.
3. Information processed when you contact us
If you reach out through the support/deletion request form or by email, we store your email address and the content of your message in order to reply. This information is used only to handle your request.
4. Third-party processors & international transfer
We rely on the following processors to operate the service. All are based outside Korea, so your data may be processed abroad.
| Processor | What is processed | Country |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Anonymous authentication, database, server functions (stores conversation records, device info, and contact messages) | Outside Korea |
| OpenRouter | AI reply generation — your message and the stage's conversation history are sent | United States |
| Google LLC (AdMob) | Shows interstitial ads — processes device info and advertising identifier | United States |
| Oracle Corporation | Operates the collection server infrastructure for usage statistics and error information | United States |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting | United States, etc. |
We do not sell the information we collect and do not share it with third parties beyond the processors above, except where required by law. This transfer happens over the network each time the relevant service above is called; the items transferred and retention periods are the same as the table above and Section 5.
5. Retention
- Conversation records — kept indefinitely for difficulty tuning and technique analysis. Deleted on request.
- Anonymous identifier / device info — deleted on request, or when cleaning up long-inactive accounts.
- Hall-of-fame nickname — kept public as part of the record; deleted on request.
- Contact messages — kept for 1 year after resolution, then deleted.
- On-device progress — removed when you uninstall the app.
6. Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of your information via the support page's request form or by emailing support@sanglimsoft.com. Since the app collects no account information, we may ask for rough details like when you played and your device type to help locate your records.
7. Notice about AI-generated content
In-game AI replies are generated by a large language model and may include inaccurate or inappropriate content. If you encounter a problematic reply, please report it via the support page.
8. Children's privacy
This service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated text and revision date will be posted on this page. Material changes may also be announced within the app.
10. Usage statistics and error information
The following information is sent to a collection server operated by the operator, for service improvement and error correction.
- Records of app use such as launch, exit, installation, and update
- An identifier for the screen navigated to within the app
- Records of key actions performed in the app (for example, first clear, stage cleared)
- When the same spot is tapped repeatedly in a short time, that fact together with the on-screen coordinates of the tap and structural information about the element tapped
- Technical information about errors and abnormal terminations
- Environment information such as device type, OS version, app version, and language setting
- An anonymous identifier used to group these records by installation
Screen recordings and the content displayed on screen are not collected. Conversations exchanged with the AI during play are not subject to collection. Error information contains the error type, the error message, and the program execution path leading up to the error. Because of how the app is built for release, source file names and locations are not exposed; however, the error message may include part of the value being processed at the time the error occurred.
11. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The app is provided as is, free of charge. The operator does not warrant that the app will operate without interruption, be free of errors, be fit for a particular purpose, or produce the results you expect. Judgments in the game are made according to the responses of an AI model, and the operator does not warrant that those judgments are consistent or accurate.
The operator is not liable for damages arising from the following.
- Dissatisfaction with an AI judgment, or damages arising from it
- Damages arising from the public display of text you entered into the hall of fame
- Loss of game progress due to device reset, app deletion, or similar
- Outage, discontinuation, or policy changes of the external AI service
- Loss or theft of your device, or sharing it with others
- Service disruptions caused by network conditions, the operating system, the device manufacturer, or the app marketplace
The operator is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, damages from data loss, lost business opportunities, or liability to third parties. Where the operator is liable, that liability is limited to ordinarily foreseeable direct damages; the app is provided free of charge and you have paid no consideration.
The two preceding paragraphs apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law, and do not apply to damages caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence, to cases where the law prohibits or restricts such exclusions, or to rights guaranteed to you as a consumer under consumer protection law.
